In the midst of COVID-19, many people are experiencing heightened levels of stress and anxiety. It’s important to remember that if you or others you know are suffering, that suffering deserves to be heard and felt. Negating the trauma of others causes dehumanization and more pain. While you may not be able to identify specifically why someone is suffering, you can acknowledge they are and provide them space in which to felt seen and heard. The same goes for yourself if you’re experiencing trauma and/or suffering.
